About me
I'm Midas Kwant, I'm 15 years old and I live in the Netherlands. I have been creating apps for almost one year. So far I have four apps available in the App Store, you can view them below on this page.
I started developing applications because I simply love Apple. The creativity, the simplicity, everything. At the time I had an iPod Touch and discovered small pieces of software called apps. I became very curious into how these apps were created and installed on my iPod Touch. My questions were answered, I discovered Apple's Developer Program.
The fascinating part about developing applications is creating something that is state of the art and makes people feel good. In addition, apart from creating a feeling of joy and entertainment, these people will want to use my application no matter what. In the next few years I will be focusing more on creating the best user experiences and creating great design. I will continue coding, too but now entire apps.
When I'm finished with high school, I'll fly to San Francisco and continue my higher education at Stanford University. After graduating from Stanford University I plan to work at Apple and continue my passion. I'm on a classical education (with Greek & Latin) at ECL in Haarlem.
In my spare time, I'm busy with apps, design, code, user experience and inspiration. Of course I'm not only busy with apps, I also play hockey, skateboard, ski and more. In addition, I'm also speak at the Next Speaker. (add your link) I have also been in several talk shows and T.V programs in the Netherlands.
